Beatty, Bening, Crystal, Hanks, Roberts, et al. to Appear in The World of Nick Adams

An all-star staged reading of The World of Nick Adams, A.E. Hotchner’s adaptation of Ernest Hemingway’s short story, will take place at San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall at 7pm on Friday, October 27 to benefit The Painted Turtle, one of the many camps for needy children founded by the late Paul Newman.

Scheduled participants for the evening will include Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Billy Crystal, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Tom Hanks, Jack Nicholson, Edward James Olson, Sean Penn, Julia Roberts, and Bruce Willis, along with members of the San Francisco Symphony. The reading will be staged by Carey Perloff, the artistic director of American Conservatory Theatre.
