Steve Martin, Julianne Moore, et al. to Appear at Barnes & Noble

Film and stage stars Steve Martin and Julianne Moore will be among the celebrities appearing in October at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street).

Moore will appear in the store’s JRs department at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 23 for a reading and signing of her new picture book Freckleface Strawberry, while Martin and co-author Roz Chast will sign their new book The Alphabet from A to Y with Bonus Letter Z at 3pm on Saturday, October 27.

Two notable programs will both to be held on Thursday, October 4. There will be a performance/discussion panel in conjunction with NYMF featuring musical theater writers Robert Lopez, Jeremy Desmon, Tom Kitt, and Andrew Gerle, moderated by ASCAP’s Michael Kerker at 5:30pm. At 7:30pm, the store will host performances from cabaret favorites Eric Comstock, Barbara Fasano, Allan Harris, and Julie Wilson interspersed with readings from the book The House That George Built.

Other special guests next month will include rock singer Richard Barone (October 1), author Julie Kavanaugh (October 9), Grammy Award-winning singer Amy Grant (October 16), Big Apple Circus ringmaster Paul Binder (October 20), and talk show host James Lipton (October 24).

In addition, the store’s popular Any Wednesday series will feature three-time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn (October 3), Deborah Shulman, Marcus Simeone, and Laura Wolfe (October 10), Linda Kosut (October 17), Cynthia Crane (October 24), and Jasper Kump (October 31).
