John Driscoll, who plays Henry “Coop” Bradshaw on the CBS daytime drama The Guiding Light, will make his New York theatrical debut on September 13 when he joins the cast of Matt Morillo’s Angry Young Women in Low-Rise Jeans with High-Class Issues at the Players Theater. Driscoll will play two roles in the comedy: Ronnie, a happy-go-lucky lover of career women, and Barry, a B-movie idol.

The play, which is a comedy about the battle of the sexes, presents a series of foxy, witty, anxious women and the men they alternately delight and torture.

The cast also includes Rachel Nau, Thomas J. Pilutik, Jennifer Missoni, Angelique Letizia, Nicholas J. Coleman, and Jessica Durdock. The show features set design by Jana Mattioli and lighting design by Amith A. Chandrashaker.

In addition to Guiding Light, Driscoll has appeared in the television shows
Young Americans, Dawson’s Creek, The Book of Daniel, One Tree Hill, and Law and Order, as well as the award-winning short film Happenstance.
