Sean Hayes Set for Multi-Episode Arc on NBC’s Smash

Stage and screen veteran Sean Hayes will join the cast of NBC’s drama Smash for a multi-episode arc according to published reports. Hayes will play Terrence Falls, a film and television star making his Broadway debut in Liaisons, a musical based on Les Liaisons Dangereuses.

Hayes, who co-starred with Smash cast member Debra Messing on the sitcom Will & Grace, has been seen on Broadway in Promises, Promises and in the Encores! production of Damn Yankees.

Smash, which focuses on the making of a Broadway musical, also stars Christian Borle’s, Jack Davenport, Megan Hilty, Anjelica Huston, and Katharine McPhee.
