Leslie Kritzer to Join Off-Broadway’s NEWSical the Musical

Leslie Kritzer will join the Off-Broadway cast of NEWSical the Musical: End of the World Edition at the Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row beginning Saturday, September 8.
As previously announced, celebrity blogger and internet gossip columnist Perez Hilton will join the company of the show the same day.
In composer-lyricist Rick Crom’s musical revue of all the most talked-about headlines of the day, satirical spoofs of the most up-to-the-minute newsmakers and celebrities are added on a regular basis. For Hilton’s arrival, Crom will add a song about the Perez Hilton phenomenon which will be performed by the man himself.
Mark Waldrop directs the production, which also features Christine Pedi, Christina Bianco, Tommy Walker, Michael West, Amy Griffin, and Ryan Knowles.
Kritzer’s stage credits include Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Guys and Dolls, On the Town, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Funny Girl, and many others.
