The Alchemy Theatre Company will present Robert Carroll's The Believers, as a part of the company's Free Reading Series, on Wednesday, August 8 at 7pm. This event will take place at the DR 2 Theatre.

The Believers, directed by Stephen Logan Day, begins the night before the New York City Democratic Primary. Chris Connor has spent two grueling years working to get Gene Johnson elected to the City Council and now believes he has the one thing that can ensure victory. Can Chris make one last push with those around him to do whatever it takes to win?

The cast features Laura Bozzone, Brian J. Carter, Joe Danbusky, Jacob Fishel, Jessica Levesque, Sawyer Mastrandrea, Ted McGuiness, and Edward Prostak.
