The Addams Family to Close on Broadway on December 31

The Addams Family will play its final performance at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on December 31. The production will have played 725 performances.

Based on the iconic characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, The Addams Family features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The production is directed and designed (sets and costumes) by Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch, with creative consultation by Jerry Zaks and choreography by Sergio Trujillo

The company currently features Brooke Shields as Morticia, Roger Rees as Gomez, Brad Oscar as Fester, Rachel Potter as Wednesday, Jackie Hoffman as Grandma, Zachary James as Lurch, Adam Riegler as Pugsley, Heidi Blickenstaff as Alice Beineke, Adam Grupper as Mal Beineke and Jesse Swenson as Lucas Beineke.

The ensemble currently includes Merwin Foard, Becca Ayers, Tom Berklund, Jim Borstelmann, Mo Brady, Erick Buckley, Mike Cannon, Valerie Fagan, Stephanie Gibson, Fred Inkley, Lisa Karlin, Reed Kelly, Allison Thomas Lee, Jessica Lea Patty, Logan Rowland and Samantha Sturm.
