Judith Malina and Daphne Rubin-Vega will be among the honorees at the Castillo Theatre’s annual gala, to be held on November 7.

The event, entitled Women Onstage, will also honor Gabrielle L. Kurlander, the president and CEO of the All Stars Project, as well as additional individuals to be announced.

Malina co-founded the Living Theatre in 1947 with then-husband Julian Beck (who died in 1985). She continues to direct and produce work with the company, most recently with her production of her own play, Korach, earlier this year.

Rubin-Vega received Tony Award nominations for her performances in Rent and Anna in the Tropics. She will be returning to Broadway later this season in A Streetcar Named Desire.
