Oscar Winner Robert F. Boyle Dies at 100

Art director and production director Robert F. Boyle, who received an honorary Oscar as well as Oscar nominations for four films, including Fiddler on the Roof, has died at age 100, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Boyle’s many other film credits included many other movie musicals, including How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Staying Alive, and Mame.

He also received Oscar nominations for The Shootist, Gaily, Gaily, and North by Northwest, one of many films on which he worked with famed director Alfred Hitchcock.
