Original Cast Recording of Billy Barnes L.A. to Get Limited Edition CD Release

The original cast recording of the 1962 revue Billy Barnes L.A. will be reissued on a limited edition CD by Kritzerland. The album will ship the third week of September

The show skewers all things Los Angeles in the early 1960s, including “The Akron,” which was then the city’s version of Target.

The company features Joyce Jameson, Ken Berry, Steve Franken, Tom Hatten, Marlyn Mason, and Sylvia Lewis. The disc will also include and includes bonus tracks from a live club show featuring Barnes and Marvin Laird performing more Barnes songs.
