John Gallagher Jr., Laura Michelle Kelly, Tony Vincent, et al. to Perform at Broadway in Bryant Park August 12

Nearly the entire cast of Broadway’s American Idiot — including John Gallagher Jr., Tony Vincent, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sajous, Leslie McDonel, Ben Thompson, Declan Bennett, Andrew Call, Gerard Canonico, Miguel Cervantes, Sydney Harcourt, Brian Charles Johnson, Joshua Kobak, Chase Peacock, Corbin Reid, Wallace Smith, Theo Stockman, Alysha Umphress, Aspen Vincent, and Libby Winters — will perform as part of Broadway in Bryant Park on Thursday, August 12. They will sing the Green Day songs, “American Idiot,” “Last Night on Earth,” and “Letterbomb.” The free outdoor event begins at 12:30pm.

Also performing will be Olivier Award winner Laura Michelle Kelly, who plays the title role in Mary Poppins. She will be joined by cast mates Nicolas Dromard, Rozi Baker, Ethan Haberfield, and Janelle Anne Robinson along with ensemble performers to sing “Practically Perfect,” “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

Matthew Hydzik, currently starring as Tony in West Side Story, will be joined by Haley Carlucci to sing “Something’s Coming” and “Tonight” from that musical.

La Cage Aux Folles cast members Dale Hensley, Chris Hoch, Sean Carmon, Nicholas Cunningham, Sean Patrick Doyle, Yurel Echezarreta, Logan Keslar, Todd Lattimore, and Terry Lavell will perform the numbers, “We Are What We Are,” “With You On My Arm,” and “The Best of Times.”

Mamma Mia! cast members Heidi Godt, Stacia Fernandez, Laurie Wells, Alyse Alan Louis, Corey Greenan, Mark Dancewicz, Tony Gonzalez, Bryan Scott Johnson, Raymond J. Lee, Ian Paget, Gerard Salvador, Allyson Carr, Felicity Claire, Rachel Frankenthal, Erica Mansfield, Monette McKay, Halle Morse, Sharone Sayegh, and Traci Victoria will perform the songs “Lay All Your Love on Me,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Dancing Queen.”
