David Zak to Direct Martin Casella’s The Irish Curse in London
David Zak will direct Martin Casella’s The Irish Curse, to run October 4-30 at London’s Above the Stag Theatre.
The play centers on a group of Irish-American men who meet each week at a self-help group for men with small penises.
Fiona Russell will design the production, which will have lighting design by Howard Hudson. Casting will be announced at a later date.
Zak was the artistic director of Chicago’s Bailiwick Repertory from 1982-2009. His directoril credits include Jerry Springer – The Opera, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Breathe, Parade, Dr. Sex, Animal Farm, and Son Fire.
