3-Legged Dog and MTA Reach Agreement to End Eviction Proceedings

Experimental theater company 3-Legged Dog, based out of the 3LD Art & Technology Center at 80 Greenwich Street, has reached an agreement with its landlord, The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, to end the latter agency’s eviction proceedings against the company, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The MTA began eviction proceedings in May, stating that the theater company owed over $308,000 in back rent and interest. The settlement sets an agreed upon payment schedule, allowing for the company to continue operations.

As recently announced, 3LD is hosting the Ohio Theatre for a three-year residency, following the Ohio’s eviction from its longtime home at 66 Wooster Street, which it must vacate on August 31.
