The play is based on an original story by Raja Origila and Richard Willis Jr., and is written by Nicola Behrman, Kieron Quirke, Paul Murray, and Willis. The show's creative team features Duncan O'Neill (sets), Deanna Berg (costumes), and Graham Kindred (lighting).

The story focuses on three best friends from college, Betsey, Bobby, and Cal, who haven't been in the same room since their college graduation 10 years ago. Bobby is getting married over a July 4th weekend, Cal -- who vehemently opposes the institution of marriage -- is his Best Man, and Betsey, who is married with two kids, is hosting the celebration in her cabin in the Berkshires.
