As previously announced the cast will include Tony Award winner Betty Buckley (Sunset Boulevard) as Gertrude Hayhurst Sylvester Ratliff, Tony Award nominee Hallie Foote (The Orphans’ Home Cycle) as Sibyl Borden, and Tony Award nominee Lois Smith (The Trip to Bountiful) as Mamie Borden. Joining these stars will be Tony Award nominee Veanne Cox (A Free Man of Color) as Julia Price; Adam LeFevre (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Albert Price; Sean Lyons (Gore Vidal’s The Best Man) as Tom Underwood; Novella Nelson (It’s Kind of a Funny Story) as Hattie; Melle Powers (Chappelle’s Show) as Catherine; and Cotter Smith (Next Fall) as Howard Ratliff.

The Old Friends follows matriarch Mamie Borden (Smith) and the remaining members of two Texas farming families. When Mamie’s son, Hugo, and his wife, Sybil, arrive with surprising news, old friends are forced to take opposing sides and confront issues regarding “legacy, loyalty, and the meaning of happiness.”
