TACT/The Actors Company Theatre will present Brian Friel's Lovers and Anita Loos' Happy Birthday during its 2012-2013 at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. Casting for these productions will be announced at later date.

Lovers, to be directed Drew Barr, will run September 18-October 20. The play, which was written in 1968, is set in Ireland and tells the tales of two very different couples, both at the beginning of their romantic journeys together, yet each from very different perspectives and with very different outcomes. The production will feature scenic design by Brett Banakis, lighting design by Mary Louise Geiger, costume design by Kim Krum Sorenson, and sound design by Daniel Kluger.

Happy Birthday, to be directed by Scott Alan Evans, will run March 12-April 13. It is described as "a brash American comedy about the Golden Age of Broadway."
