Revised Edition of Working Among Productions Set for New Season at 59E59 Theaters

Prospect Theatre Company’s production of the musical Working is among the productions that will be seen at 59E59 Theaters this fall and winter.

Directed by Gordon Greenberg, the revised version of the musical, which recently ran at Chicago’s Broadway Playhouse, Sarasota’s Asolo, and San Diego’s Old Globe, will run December 1-30. Adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso from the book by Studs Terkel, Working features songs by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers & Susan Birkenhead, Schwartz, and James Taylor. Casting will be announced.

September and October productions include Marie Jones’ Fly Me to the Moon with Tara Lynne O’Neill and Katie Tumelty (September 5-30); Pete and Will Anderson’s The Anderson Twins Play the Fabulous Dorseys! with the Andersons, Jon-Erik Kellso, Ehud Asherie, Kevin Dorn and Clovis Nicolas (September 11-October 7); Jennifer Schlueter’s North with Christina Ritter, Christopher Marlowe Roche and Kalafatic Poole and Little Book with Roache, Ritter, and Patty Heying (October 4-28); and Paul David Young’s In the Summer Pavilion directed by Kathy Gail MacGowan, with Ryan Barry and Meena Dimian (October 10-November 4).

November and December will see Caitlin Montanye Parrish and Erica Weiss’ A Twist of Water with Stef Tovar, Falashay Pearson, Alex Hugh Brown and Lili-Anne Brown (November 1-25); Bruce Graham’s The Outgoing Tide directed by Bud Martin (November 7-December 16); Gary Henderson’s Skin Tight directed by Nick Flint (November 8-Decembre 1); and Greg White’s Flipside: The Patti Page Story, with Haley Jane Pierce, Lindsie VanWinkle, Stephen Hilton, Justin Larman, Jenny Rottmayer, and Kassie Carroll (December 18-30).
