Stage and television star Aasif Mandvi is joining Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, and JoAnna Garcia in Shawn Levy's film The Internship, according to Deadline.com..

He will play Mr. Chetty, the tough head of the internship program Vaughn and Wilson's characters enlist in as they try to reinvent their dead-end careers.

Mandvi will appear this fall in the LCT3 production of Disgraced. He won an Obie for his one-man show, Sakina's Restaurant, and his other stage credits include Oklahoma!, Death Defying Acts, Trudy Blue, Guantanamo: Honor Bound to Defend Freedom, and Einstein's Gift.

He is best known for being the Middle East correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and has a development deal with CBS. He can also currently be seen on the big screen in Ruby Sparks opposite Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano.
