Complete Cast Set for Broadway’s Jekyll & Hyde, Starring Deborah Cox, Constantine Maroulis

Complete casting has been announced for the new production of Jekyll & Hyde, which will launch a 25-week national tour at the San Diego Civic Theater on October 2, followed by a Broadway engagement in Spring 2013 at a theater to be announced.

As previously reported, the cast will be led by Constantine Maroulis as Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde and Deborah Cox as Lucy. Teal Wicks will play Emma Carew, with Laird Mackintosh as John Utterson and Richard White as Sir Danvers Carew.

The cast will also include David Benoit, Jerry Christakos, Dana Costello, Wendy Fox, Brian Gallagher, Sean Jenness, Mel Johnson Jr., Miles Johnson, James Judy, Ashley Loren, Courtney Markowitz, Aaron Ramey, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Rob Richardson, Blair Ross, Doug Storm, Haley Swindal, and Jason Wooten.

Conceived for the stage by Frank Wildhorn and Steve Cuden, the musical features a book & lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, music by Wildhorn, and will be directed and choreographed by Jeff Calhoun.

The show is based on the acclaimed novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson, about a London doctor who accidentally unleashes his evil alternate personality in his quest to cure his father’s mental illness. .
