Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q's Robert Lopez, the musical follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that's about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.

The production is co-directed by Parker and Casey Nicholaw, who also serves as the production's choreographer. Orchestrations are by Stephen Oremus. The production is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
