Also in attendance at the ceremony were Flower Girl Kate Monster, and human puppeteers and Avenue Q veterans Jennifer Barnhart, Jed Resnick and Howie Michael Smith. The ceremony was officiated by Amy Hausman.

In Avenue Q, Rod, a Wall Street banker, and Ricky, a "Chelsea boy," meet through an online personal ad placed by Rod's best friend and slacker roommate Nicky.
