John Kelly, Bill T. Jones, et al. Set fo New York Live Arts’ Inaugural Season

New York Live Arts, the organization created by the merger of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and Dance Theater Workshop, has announced its inaugural season.

The season will begin with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company’s Body Against Body, two dance programs which will feature such pieces as Continuous Replay, Blauvelt Mountain, and Monkey Run Road to run September 16-25.

These performances will be part of the Live Arts’ Replay Series, which will audiences a look back at seminal works in the careers of established artists. Other offerings in the series will include John Kelly’s Find My Way Home (October 21-29), Martha @ …The 1963 Interview (November 16-19), Yvonne Meier’s The Shining (December 13-23), Reggie Wilson and Fist Heel Performance Group’s theREVISITATION (March 14-17), John Jasperse’s Fort Blossom Revisited (May 9-12), and Big Dance Theater’s Comme Toujours Here I Stand (May 16-19).

In addition, New York Live Arts will offer world premiere presentations of such works as Emily Johnson’s The Thank-you Bar (November 9-12), Vanessa Anspaugh’s Armed guard Garden and Jen rosenblit’s In Mouth (February 15-18), and Trajal Harrell’s Twenty Looks or Paris Is Burning at the Judson Church (April 25-28).
