Evan Cabnet to Direct LCT3 Production of Julia Brownell’s All American

LCT3 will open its 2011-2012 season with the world premiere of Julia Brownell All American ,to run October 24-November 19 at The Duke on 42nd Street. The production, which will open on Monday, November 7, will be directed by Evan Cabnet. Casting will be announced at the later date.

In the play, suburban dad and former NFL star Mike Slattery works hard to make his daughter Katie the new star quarterback at her new school while ignoring her brainy twin brother Aaron. But Katie isn’t sure she wants to keep playing, and Mike’s wife isn’t sure she wants to keep playing along.

The production will have sets by Lee Savage, costumes by Jessica Wegener Shay, lighting by Japhy Weideman, and sound by Jill BC DuBoff


In late spring 2012, LCT3 will move into its new home, the Claire Tow Theater, a 131 seat theater currently being built on the roof of the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
