PHOTO FLASH: Helen Hunt Debuts in Our Town at the Barrow Street Theatre

On Tuesday, July 6, Academy Award winner Helen Hunt debuted in the role of the Stage Manager in the Off-Broadway production of Our Town, at the Barrow Street Theatre.

David Cromer has directed the production. The current cast also includes Elizabeth Audley as Mrs. Soames, Jeremy Beiler as Simon Stimson, Robert Beitzel as Howie Newsome, Kati Brazda as Mrs. Webb, Will Brill as Joe Crowell, Jr, Nathan Dame as Sam Craig, Roger E. DeWitt as Joe Stoddard, Ann Dowd as Mrs. Gibbs, Emma Galvin as Rebecca Gibbs, Jennifer Grace as Emily Webb, Mark Hattan as Constable Warren, Jake Horowitz as Wally Webb, David Manis as Mr. Webb, Daniel Marcus as Professor Willard, James McMenamin as George Gibbs, Jeff Still as Doc Gibbs, Jason Yachanin as Si Crowell, with Dana Jacks, Lynn Laurence, Kathleen Peirce, Keith Perry and Mark Shock.

Hunt won an Oscar for her performance in As Good As It Gets, and received four Emmy awards for playing the role of Jamie Buchman on the NBC sitcom Mad About You. Her Broadway credits include Life (x) 3, Twelfth Night, and playing the role of Emily in the Lincoln Center production of Our Town.
