Justin Bennett, Zac Hoogendyk, Ryan Michael Jones et al. Set for Jonathan Brady One-Acts

Casting is complete for a double bill of Jonathan Brady’s one-act plays, Suits and Ties/Suits and Capes, to be presented by Turtle Shell Productions at The Shell Theater, July 15-August 1. John Cooper will direct.

Suits and Ties follows a group of friends struggling to hold on to their small company as it teeters on the brink of failure. The cast will include Justin Bennett (Napoleon), Larry Bull (Frank), Duke Lafoon (Jay), Frederick J. Mayer (Inspector), M. Scott Mclean (Tom) and David Pegram (Charles).

Suits and Capes is a comedy about two young men who try to become superheroes and save the world from “The SoHo Strangler”. They lack only one thing: super powers. The cast will feature Christine Bullen (Reporter/Nurse/Victim 2) Samantha Cole (Kate), Andre Herzegovitch (SoHo Strangler), Zac Hoogendyk (Kenneth), and Ryan Michael Jones (Ray).

The design team will include Tori Depew (set), Stephen Sakowski (lighting), Erica Evans (costumes), Rocco D’Santi (projections), and Josh Millican (sound).

In related news, the company’s previously announced production of Manhattan Transfer will now be directed by John Cooper rather than Kathleen Swan.
