Two-time Tony Award-winner John Cullum will reprise his performance as The Interlocutor in The Scottsboro Boys, when it begins performances on October 7 at the Lyceum Theatre. Susan Stroman will direct and choreograph the production, which will officially open on October 31.

With music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb and a book by David Thompson, the piece explores the infamous "Scottsboro" case of the 1930's when a group of African-American teenagers were unjustly accused of attacking two white women -- and the boys' attempts to prove their innocence.

As previously announced, the company will also feature Joshua Henry as Haywood Patterson, Sean Bradford as Ozie Powell and Ruby Bates, Josh Breckenridge as Olen Montgomery, Derrick Cobey as Andy Wright, Colman Domingo as Mr. Bones, Rodney Hicks as Clarence Norris, Kendrick Jones as Willie Roberson, Forrest McClendon as Mr. Tambo, Julius Thomas III as Roy Wright, Sharon Washington as The Lady and Christian Dante White as Charles Weems and Victoria Price. Casting for the role of Eugene Williams will be announced soon.

The production will feature set design by Beowulf Borritt, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Ken Billington, sound design by Peter Hylenski, orchestrations by Larry Hochman, musical arrangements by Glen Kelly, and music direction by David Loud.
