Award-winning French actress Isabelle Huppert will star in Brillante Mendoza’s new film Captured, according to published reports.
She recently appeared in the French play Un Tramway, adapted from A Streetcar Named Desire. Huppert was most recently seen on stage in New York in Quartett at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and previously performed there in Sarah Kane’s 4:48 Psychose.
Her many film credits include The Piano Teacher, La dentellière, and Heaven’s Gate.
Mendoza is best known for his film Lola.
