Tony Award nominee David Alan Grier will be among the headliners at Comix in the coming weeks. He will play the club on July 23-24.
Other upcoming headliners include film star Jennifer Coolidge (July 25-26), Jim Florentine (July 30-31), Lizz Winstead and Megan Murphy (August 5-7), Parenthood star Dax Shepard (August 13-14), The Blanks (August 20-21), and Kevin Meaney (August 27-28).
Grier has starred on Broadway in Race The First, Dreamgirls, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. His many film and television credits include Streamers, In Living Color, Damon, and The Bonnie Hunt Show. He is also author of the book, Barack Like Me: The Chocolate-Covered Truth.
