Rock of Ages CD Arrives in Stores on July 7; J&R Signing Postponed

The signing of Rock of Ages‘ original Broadway Cast Recording at J&R Records on July 7 at 12:30pm has been postponed. A new date will be announced shortly. The CD, however, will still arrive in stores on July 7.

Written by Chris D’Arienzo and directed by Kristin Hanggi, the musical — currently playing the Brooks Atkinson Theatre — focuses on a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl who meet in 1987 at a legendary Hollywood club facing its imminent demise. The production was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The cast featured on the album includes Constantine Maroulis, Amy Spanger, James Carpinello, Adam Dannheisser, Mitchell Jarvis, Michele Mais, Lauren Molina, Paul Schoeffler, Wesley Taylor, Ericka Hunter, Jeremy Jordan, Michael Minarik, Angel Reed, Bahiyah Sayyed-Gaines, Katherine Tokarz, Andre Ward, Savannah Wise, Tad Wilson, and Jeremy Woodard. Spanger recently left the show due to vocal problems.
