Cassie Beck, Darren Goldstein, Jennifer Mudge, and More Set for Atlantic’s Oohrah!

Cassie Beck, Sami Gayle, Darren Goldstein, J.R. Horne, Jennifer Mudge, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe, and Maximilian Osinski wil star in the Atlantic Theater Company’s world premiere of Bekah Brunstetter’s Oohrah!, to play the Atlantic Stage 2 September 1-27, with an opening set for September 10. Evan Cabnet will direct.

Set in Fayetteville, North Carolina, home to one of the South’s largest military bases, the play concerns two sisters. Sara’s husband has returned from an uneventful tour in Iraq, but still has trouble re-adjusting to domestic life, while Abby’s civilian fiancé is more interested in PlayStation than the battlefield. Brunstetter’s plays include Be a Good Little Widow, Miss Lilly Gets Boned, and You May Go Now.

The creative team will include Lee Savage (set), Jessica Wegener (costumes), Tyler Micoleau (lighting), and Dan Baker (sound).
