Broadway to Dim its Lights in Honor of Actress Jean Stapleton
The Broadway community will take one minute at 8pm tomorrow, June 5, to collectively mourn the loss of acclaimed actress Jean Stapleton by dimming the marquees of Broadway theaters. Stapleton died Friday at the age of 90.
Jean Stapleton was featured in the original casts of Bells are Ringing on Broadway in the 1950s and Funny Girl in the 1960s as well as on the cast of the TV sitcom All in the Family.
