Performance Space 122 has announced its 2011 summer schedule.

The venue will host The UK Comes to the EV, a mini festival of performance work from the U.K., to run June 1-11. At the center of the series will be Helen Cole's We See Fireworks (June 4-11), an installation in which audiences' recollections of previous performances are curated into a collection of moments whispered softly into the darkness. For this piece, theatergoers will also have the opportunity to lend their own voices to the work, with individual recording times set for June 4-8.

Other offerings in the UK series will be Action Hero Watch Me Fall (June 1-2), a collage of recorded moments detailing the obsession society has with people who attempt the impossible, the futility of their attempts and their inevitable fall from grace; and Curious - The Moment I Saw You I Knew I Could Love You (June 4-5), an investigation of the earliest stages of love. >P> In addition there were be a free offering of Long Table on Live Art vs Performance Art. UK vs America. A Special or Essential Relationship. Discuss, developed by Lois Weaver, to be held on June 4 at 2pm.

From June 11-25, P.S. 122 will host The 30th Anniversary Season RetroFutureSpective Festival, which will open with an evening of performances by Tim Miller, Kamelle Mills, Brigham Mosley, and Katie O.

In addition, Murray Hill & Uncle Jimmy will host two performances of Avant-Garde-Arama Wrecking Ball!, which will feature Koosil-Ja, M Lamar, John Kelly, Edgar Oliver, Urban Bush Women, Tigger, Lisa Kron, Janet Clancy, Peggy Pettitt, and Karen Therese. (June 17 and 18).

The series will conclude with four nights of Old School 122 Benefit, which will be hosted respectively by Julie Atlas-Muz & David White (June 22), DANCENOISE w/ Richard Move & guests (June 23), Lane Czaplinski & Sarah Michelson (June 24), and Carmelita Tropicana (June 25).

Participating artists will include Eric Bogosian, Elevator Repair Service, David Leslie, Big Art Group, Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, Charles Moulton, The Wooster Group, David Levine, Deb Margolin, Holly Hughes, Maria Hassabi, Temporary Distortion, Tamar Rogoff, Jennifer Miller, Jack Ferver, NTUSA, Neal Medlyn, Penny Arcade, Peter Rose, Philippe Quesne, New York City Players, the TEAM, Sally Silvers, Mabou Mines, Tom Murrin, Ishmael Houston-Jones, John Zorn, and Melanie Joseph.
