Brian d’Arcy James, Kelli O’Hara to Perform And Then I Wrote ‘The Music Man’ Benefit

Brian d’Arcy James will play Meredith Willson and Kelli O’Hara will play his wife Rini in And Then I Wrote ‘The Music Man’, to be presented on June 16 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Carl Forsman will direct the performance, which will feature musical direction and accompaniment by Brian Cimmet and will benefit the Keen Company.

The show is based on Willson’s Capitol Records recording and book But He Doesn’t Know the Territory, which chronicles his process writing the iconic musical and includes songs from the show.
