Staceyann Chin, Dred, Anthony Escobar, Holly Hughes, Rosamond King, Lisa Kron, and Chic & Sassy will be among the performers of Stonewall Was a Riot! Queer Riffs on Life Since 1969, to be presented at the Stonewall Inn, June 22 at 8 pm.
The performance, a fundraiser for OutHistory.org, will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots at the scene of the crime, kick off Pride week 2009, and launch OutHistory.org’s “Since Stonewall Local Histories Contest.” The event will be emceed by JZ Bich, and feature DJs Sara Graham and Daddy.
