Xanthe Elbrick to Star in BTF’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession

2007 Tony Award nominee Xanthe Elbrick will play Vivie in the Berkshire Theatre Festival’s production of George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession, August 14-September 1. The production, to be directed by Anders Cato, will open officially on August 17.

She joins previously announced stars Jayne Atkinson as Kitty Warren, Randy Harrison as Frank Gardner, Walter Hudson as Sir George Crofts, Mark Nelson as Praed, and Stephen Temperley as Samuel Gardner. The show’s creative team includes Carl Sprague (scenery), Olivera Gajic (costumes), Dan Kotlowitz (lighting), and Scott Killian (composition and sound).

Elbrick played the dual roles of Aaron and Alexander in the Broadway production of Coram Boy. In addition to her Tony nomination, she received a Drama Desk Award nomination and a Theatre World Award. Her many other stage credits include Cabaret, Anything Goes, and The Miracle Worker.
