Cook, Cutrell, Hwang, et al. to Appear at Barnes & Noble in July

Tony Award winner Barbara Cook will participate in a conversation with film maker Rick McKay at 6pm on Monday, July 9 at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street).

Among the other events scheduled for the store is a discussion between playwright David Henry Hwang and novelist Min Jin Lee, author of Free Food for Millionaires, at 7:30pm on Wednesday, July 11, and a discussion of Jeannie Williams’ biography, Jon Vickers: A Hero’s Life, about the famed Canadian opera singer, at 6pm on Monday, July 16.

In addition, the store’s popular Any Wednesday series of performances and CD signings will feature Jim Van Slyke (July 11), Sue Matsuki (July 18), and cabaret singers Brandon Cutrell, Lillie Kae, and Jane Stuart (July 25). Each performance starts at 6pm and lasts about 30 minutes, with the signing immediately following.
