Kushnier performs the dual roles of James the Lesser and Priest, as well as understudying the roles of Jesus, Judas and Pontius Pilate in Superstar, and notably played the role of Judas during several press performances surrounding the opening of the musical, and was consequently reviewed in several publications including TheaterMania. The actor was first seen on Broadway as Ren McCormick in Footloose, and appeared as Roger in Rent. Additional credits include Radames in Aida (National Tour), Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys (Chicago, Las Vegas and Toronto), and Dr. Madden in Next to Normal (National Tour).
