Midtown International Theatre Festival Announces 2011 Season

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) has announced the shows that will comprise its 2011 Season, July 11 – 31. Venues will include the June Havoc Theatre, the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, the Main Stage Theater, and the Jewel Box Theater, all located in the same building on 312 W. 36th Street.

Musical entries will include Alice: A New Musical; Between the Bricks; Boomers, The Musical of a Generation; Children of God; Mother Eve’s Secret Garden of Sensual Sisterhood; Ocean in a Tea Cup; Peg O’ My Heart; RIP!; Sistas: The Musical; Surviving Love; and Trouble: A New Rock Musical.

Plays will include The Banana Monologues, Dad Doesn’t Dance, The Dickening, Dirty Paki Lingerie, Don Gio, Ethan’s People, Flowers: A Thorny Romance Story, The Fundamentalist, Gated, Georgia & Me, Hanky Panky, Home Movies, Kelly and Lindsey Do New York: Literally, Lavender Shore, Mad Mel and the Marradians, The Picture Plane, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, The Royal Weight Watcher, Sarke, Sex Curve, Tea in a Tempest, and Truth.
