Jennifer Mudge, Matthew Rauch, Cotter Smith et al. Set for Readings of Michael Weller Plays

Judith Baicich, Francesca Faradany, Jennifer Mudge, Matthew Rauch, and Cotter Smith will read scenes from three plays by Michael Weller at The Drama Book Shop on Tuesday, May 10 from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Presented by MCC Theater in conjunction with its upcoming world premiere production of Weller’s Side Effects, the readings will consist of excerpts from that play, as well as Fifty Words and Do Not Disturb. All three loosely-related plays address modern marriage.

As previously reported, Cotter will co-star with Joely Richardson in MCC’s production of Side Effects, to be directed by David Auburn at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, beginning June 2, with an opening on June 19.
