Christian Coulson to Narrate Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects’ Soldier’s Tale

Christian Coulson, who is perhaps best known as Tom Riddle from the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, will narrate Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects’ presentation of The Soldier’s Tale, to be held at Pace University’s Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, June 9-11.

Stravinsky’s theatrical score will be performed by musicians from the Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra under the baton of KCO Music Director, Gary S. Fagin.

Choreographer/director Oberfelder places this post-World War I story in a modern
World, with the dramatic trajectory of the tale conveyed through acrobatic physicality of the
characters and the distinct storytelling of the narrator.

The cast will include Jake Szczypek as the Soldier, Rebekah Morin as the Devil, and ChristinaNoel Reaves as the Princess. The production will feature costume design by Liz Prince, set design by Juergen Riehm, lighting design by Greg Goff, and visual design/animated graphics by John Frattalone.
