Elizabeth Meriwether’s world premiere play Oliver Parker!, presented by stageFARM at the Cherry Lane Theatre, opened on Monday, May 17. Evan Cabnet has directed the production.

The dark comedy focuses on an unlikely friendship between a late teenager and an older man and the secret that they share.

The cast includes five-time Emmy Award-winner John Larroquette, Tony nominee Johanna Day, Monica Raymund, and Michael Zegen.

Among the opening night guests were actors Patch Daragh and Sarah Paulson, as well as playwrights Marsha Norman and Melissa James Gibson.
