New Joe DiPietro Musical Falling for Eve to Premiere at York Theatre Company

Two-time Tony Award-nominee Joe DiPietro has penned the book for the world premiere musical Falling for Eve, to be presented by The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s, beginning July 6, with an opening set for July 15. Larry Raben will direct, with music direction by Kim Steiner.

Featuring music by Bret Simmons and lyrics by David Howard, the show offers an unconventional retelling of the story of Adam and Eve, filled with unexpected twists and turns.
Casting and further creative team information, are to be announced.

DiPietro is currently represented on Broadway by Memphis, for which he has received Tony nominations for both his book and lyrics. He also wrote the book for the Broadway musical All Shook Up, and received a Drama Desk nomination for his book for the Off-Broadway musical The Toxic Avenger. Other credits include book and lyrics for the long-running musical comedy, I Love You, You’re Perfect Now Change.
