The Broadway production of Enron, at the Broadhurst Theatre, will close on Sunday, May 9 after an added evening performance to be offered at 7:30pm. It will have played 22 previews and 16 regular performances.

Inspired by the real-life financial scandal of 2001, the production is directed by Rupert Goold, and stars Norbert Leo Butz as Jeffrey Skilling, Gregory Itzin as Kenneth Lay, Marin Mazzie as Claudia Roe, and Stephen Kunken as Andy Fastow.

The cast also features Jordan Ballard, Brandon J. Dirden, Rightor Doyle, Anthony Holds, Ty Jones, January LaVoy, Tom Nelis, Jeff Skowron, Lusia Strus, Ian Kahn, Madisyn Shipman, Mary Stewart Sullivan, Noah Weisberg, Ben Hartley, and Ellyn Marie Marsh.

The production features scenic and costume design by Anthony Ward, lighting by Mark Henderson, music and sound by Adam Cork, video and projection by Jon Driscoll, and movement by Scott Ambler.

Enron received four Tony Award nominations yesterday, for original score, featured actor Stephen Kunken, lighting design, and sound design. However, it did not receive a nomination for Best Play.
