Rosemary Prinz to Star in Voices of Swords

Rosemary Prinz will star in Kari Floren’s new drama Voices of Swords, to be directed by Spider Duncan Christopher, at Urban Stages, June 18-22.

Prinz plays Olivia, an indomitable woman who employs a personal organizer, to win the battle with her wayward son.

The cast will also include Robert M. Jimenez, Lauren Mufson, Michael McKenzie, Mary Elaine Monti, and Gordon Joseph Weiss. The design team will include Tamar Gadish (set), John Viesta (lights), Zach Moore (sound), and Roger Murdock (original music).

Prinz’s Broadway credits include The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Tribute, and Three Men on a Horse. She originated the role of M’Lynn in Off-Broadway’s Steel Magnolias, and is also known for TV work on As the World Turns and All My Children.

Floren’s other plays include Incidental Lives, A Late Supper, The Porch, and If Wishes Were Horses.
