Daniele, Gomez, Leguizamo, Marroquin, Miranda, et al. Set for TeatroStageFest

TeatroStageFest, a Latino theater festival featuring eight full-length productions and a variety of related events at various New York City venues, will take place, June 2-15.

This year’s productions will include the Chliean musical Narcissus; two Argentinian one-acts, Flour and Lifeguard; the Hostes Repertory Company’s Borinquen Lives in El Barrio, about a Puerto Rican family in East Harlem; the children’s operetta The Toothache of King Farfan; Carlotta Llano’s solo piece Women in War; the Spanish troupe La Zaranda in Those Who Last Laugh, and the classic Brazilian comedy Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands.

Special events will include two New York Times’ Times Talks on June 9; the first with Graciela Daniele, Eugenio Derbez, Bianca Marroquin, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the second with John Leguizamo; and appearances at Joe’s Pub by Marroquin, Bobby Sanabria, and Marga Gomez and Carmelita Tropicana.
