New York Musical Theater Festival Selects Shows for Next Link Series

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMTF) will present full productions of 18 new musicals as part of its Next Link series this fall. The festival, which will include more than 100 shows, concerts, and other special events, will run September 12 -October 2 in various Manhattan venues.

The selection committee for the Next Link series included choreographer Rob Ashford; Thomas Cott, the former artistic director of Musical Theater Works; actress Joanna Gleason; producer Kevin McCollum; director Susan H. Schulman; and Jack Viertel, artistic director of the City Center Encores! series. The musicals that will be presented in the series, and their authors, are as follows:
