Neil LaBute Adds World Premiere Comedy The Money Shot to MCC Theater's 2014-15 Season

MCC Theater has announced its 2014-15 main stage season lineup of productions, all of which will be staged at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

The season will open with a reunion between MCC Theater Playwright-in-Residence Neil LaBute and director Terry Kinney for LaBute's new comedy, The Money Shot. The world premiere production will run from September 3-October 12.

The New York premiere of Punk Rock, written by Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) will follow, running from October 29-December 3. Trip Cullman will direct.

The New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's The Nether is next, running from February 4-March 15, 2015. The dramatic thriller will be helmed by Anne Kaufman.

Closing out the season will be the world premiere production of Permission, written by Robert Askins, who lent his subversive comedy Hand to God to the 2013-14 MCC season. His new comedy will run from April 29-June 7, 2015, with a director to be announced at a later date.
