The Glimmerglass Festival held a sneak preview of the world-renowned opera festival’s upcoming 2012 season at Harlem’s critically acclaimed 5 and Diamond Restaurant on Thursday, March 29.

At the event, Metropolitan Opera star Eric Owens — who will be this season’s Artist in Residence — performed a rendition of “Infelice!.e tuo credevi” from Verdi’s Ernani. Performers also included Chase Taylor and Chrystal E. Williams, who will be in the 2012 Young Artists program. The singers were accompanied by 2012 Young Artists pianist Kevin J. Miller.
