PHOTO FLASH: Brent Barrett, Christie Brinkley, Amra-Faye Wright, et al. Celebrate 6,000th Performance of Broadway’s Chicago

Christie Brinkley, who currently stars as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, at the Ambassador Theatre, joined her fellow cast members to celebrate the production’s 6,000th performance on Friday, April 29 with an intermission champagne toast and cake cutting during the Thursday, April 28 performance.

The production also stars Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Roz Ryan as Matron “Mama” Morton.

Chicago, produced by Barry and Fran Weissler, is the fifth-longest running show in Broadway history, as well as Broadway’s longest-running musical revival. The production opened on November 14, 1996.

The production has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
