Martha Clarke, MOMIX, Alfred Uhry, et al. Set for Joyce Theatre Season

Martha Clarke and Alfred Uhry will collaborate on Angel Reapers, to run November 29-December 11 at the Joyce Theater as part of the theater’s upcoming season.

Other offerings will be La Edad de Ora by Israel Galván (September 20-25), Bacchae created by Morphoses (October 25-30), Chunky Move’s Connected (November 2-6), Momix’s Botanica (December 13-31), and Prophets of Funk (January 24-29), performed by David Dorfman Dance.

In addition, the theater will host appearances by Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca (September 27-October 2), Garth Fagan Dance (October 4-9), Houston Ballet (October 11-16), The Suzanne Farrell Ballet (October 19-23), Sydney Dance Company (November 8-13), Complexions Contemporary Ballet (November 15-27), Parsons Dance (January 10-22), Camille A. Brown and Dancers (January 27-29), and Jin Xing Dance Theatre Shanghai (January 31 -February 5).

The Joyce will also offer Focus Dance (January 3-8), which will showcase the dance companies zoe | juniver; Keigwin + Company; Susan Marshall & Company; Kate Weare Company; Joe Goode Performance Group; Barack Marshall Thaeterdance; Jason Samuels Smith & Company; and Trey McIntyre Project.
